Great weekend

Wow did I have a great weekend. Friday night Savannah and I were supposed to accommpany Savannah's friend Gracie and her mother Jen to the Hannah Montana movie. We drove all the way to West Jordan only to find out the projector was not working and they would not be showing the movie at all that night. The girls were very dissapointed, but the were quickly consoled when we told them we were going to come back on Tues and that we were going to get tickets to see Enchanted that night. The girls loved Enchanted and had fun at dinner after.

On Saturday I was getting ready to go Scrapbooking and decided to bring the mail in before I left. I opened up a package and discovered..... MY PASSPORT. That's right I am yelling. I am so excited!! I almost cried when I opened it up. We sent our papers in only a week earlier so I wasn't expecting them to come for at least three weeks. So this was a total surprise. I have never had a passport before, it made me feel so patriotic. I love the feeling that I can go anywhere in the world. I can't wait to get my first stamp in it. I have to say American passports are beautiful. They are full of patriotic pictures and quotes. It is great to be an American.
So after getting my passport I headed to the crop. I was able to listen to Pres. Hinckley's funeral on my way with out any interruptions, thanks to Lisa and McCord watching Hailey and Dallin. It was such a beautiful service. Pres. Hinckley was so amazing, and it was fun to hear stories about him that I hadn't heard before.
I had such a great time scrapbooking with my mom and sis. We were even joined by an online friend. Steph got totally lucky and won two prizes in the raffle. She also won a page contest, and the prize was this awesome class that she has been wanting to take forever. I was so excited for her. We were able to meet Stacey Julian, who is a Scrapbooking Celebrity. She was so amazing and made you feel like you were her best friend. We decided we are going to make this an annual event, I can't wait for next year
Sunday was of course the Superbowl. We went over to our friends house to watch the big game. I had a great time visiting with Jen, while the boys watched the game. Of course we ate way to much delicious food and had a great time. The best thing about these friends is that their kids, Gracie and Matthew are the exact same age as Savannah and Dallin. They have a great time together and leave the Adults alone. We had so much fun hanging out with them.
