Pres. Hinkley

Okay I know that you have all probably heard by now, but tonight Pres. Hinckley passed away. I was truly saddened by this news. The world has lost one of the greatest men to ever live. I was fortunate enough to meet Pres Hinckley about 10 years ago. I had a friend that lived in his building and one day we were going to the car in the parking garage and all of the sudden a garage door started to open. Through this door came the littlest man I had ever seen. I could believe my eyes, it was Pres. Hinckley. He was headed home after a long day at the office and I could tell he was tired, but he still took the time to come and talk to us and wish us well. I will never forget that little man was one of the giants of this world.

I am happy that he finally gets to be reunited with his wife. They obviously loved each other so much. I am sure that was a glorious reunion.

Okay having said that. Does the news really have to override all the television shows to interview every person at BYU to find out how they feel. I was looking forward to a nice cozy evening curled up with my cheesy Hallmark movie, but no they had to go to BYU. I know that this sounds totally callus, but I used to feel the same way when they would interrupt for tornadoes in OK. I feel the the news is exploiting his death to get ratings, each station trying to get a bigger interview, so they end up interviewing everybody in UT. All right I have ranted now, I will go grieve in private.
