I can't beleive it finally happened!

I became an official soccer mom. Savannah and Dallin both began playing soccer last week. I have to say it was actually really fun. I am not the biggest soccer fan and wasn't really looking forward to doing the whole soccer thing. I guess anything is more fun when your kids are involved. Another great thing about soccer is that the kids get to play with their friends Matthew and Gracie. Gracie and Savannah were in the same kindergarten class last year, and have become great friends. It just worked out that her younger brother Matthew is exactly Dallin's age. It is great that they get along so well. Then their mom, Jen and I get to hang out too.

Dallin's team is called the Tigers. They won their first game and Dallin scored 3 goals. The team just needs to work on not taking the ball from each other. Dal's team played really well, none of them got tired and had to sit down. I was so proud of them.

Savannah's team the Red Diamonds, didn't fare quite as well. They lost 5-2. But I was so proud of Savannah. She ran the entire game. Even when some of the other girls sat down, she didn't. She tried to get in there and get the ball. She even had a really great run at the goal, but the goalie was able to stop the ball.
