Okay so I am a total slacker mom, and just getting around to putting this on the blog. Savannah started first grade on Mon. She was so excited to go. We went to the school last friday to make sure we knew where her classroom was. She found her room and her desk, so she knew right what to do on the first day of school. Sunday night she laid out her clothes and got to bed early. Monday morning, we were back to rising early. She got herself ready, and she was ready to go. She had asked Justin to take her to school, so they headed off. I was so proud of her she had no fear for what she was going to do that day.
After school she walked home with her friends. She was so happy. Her favorite part of the day was recess and lunch, of course. She loves her teacher, Mrs. Spendlove, and is excited about the kids in her class. I am so proud of her.
