We are still alive.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are still alive and doing well. I am slowly adjusting to life with four kiddos and the challenges that brings. Justin is busy with work again, which leaves me to deals with the kids most of the time. I have to say I am so grateful for the flexibility of his job that allows him to be around and help me out. Mornings are a little crazy, I sit in my chair and try to nurse Ian, while the other kids eat. Sometimes it goes well and sometimes not so much. Thank heavens that Savannah is as responsible as she is. She will make her breakfast then help Dallin and Hailey for me.
Ian is doing great. At his two week check up he was 8lb 12oz, which the Dr. was very pleased with. We are avoiding going too many places, as this is one of the worst RSV seasons Utah has seen for a while. We did manage to make it to Dallas and Brittany's wedding, only one week after Ian was born. And we have enjoyed playing with family that has been visiting for the wedding. Now I think things have settled down and it is nice to be home.
I am feeling really good. I am starting to function and can almost get a project done. I have several things that are half finished right now. Maybe someday I will be able to finish something I start the same day I start it. Oh well for now I will enjoy all the cuddle time I get with Ian. Now I must be off, Ian calls.

  2. Good to hear both you and Ian are doing well. I have to admit, hearing about your mornings stresses me out! Nursing just takes up so much time...
