Wow, I can't believe how fast these two month have flown by. It seems like just yesterday I was feeling like I would pop. Now my baby is on his way, growing up. It is kind of sad. I have really tried to enjoy every second of Ian's infancy. Housework has had to wait, so that I can snuggle my baby. Poor Justin has been so patient through the last two months. Ian is a great snuggler and loves to be held, but he is changing and now when he is tired he wants to just be left alone to go to sleep. While I am glad that he is becoming a great sleeper, I am sad that I don't have the magic touch anymore. Although every once in a while he will still curl up on my chest and snooze.
Ian had a check up on Monday. He weighs 13 lbs (81%) and he is 23.5 inches tall (63%). All his height is in his torso and I have had to move him up a size just to get onsies to snap up. He has started smiling and really paying attention to things. HE loves to sit in his swing and laugh at the lights. I an is a great baby and has brought so much joy to our home. Dallin loves to sit by his swing and play and talk to him. I think they are going to be great pals. Hailey has taken is upon herself to alert me every time he opens his eyes. It is pretty, funny.
During the last two months, We have
had a wedding, played with cousins
, celebrated Easter
, met great-grandmas
, welcomed spring
and learned to smile.
Whew, we have been busy.

ReplyDeleteSo cute, Alesa. Can't believe how big all your kids are getting. Dallin was the first one to get my name and recognize me. They all made my cry when I saw them at Ian's baby blessing. You really do have a great family. Enjoy it. My mom says it goes by so fast and then you miss it.
