We blessed Ian on Sunday. I thought it was a perfect Mother's Day activity. It turned out to be such a wonderful day. My sister Holly and her family were in town and it was so fun to have the whole family together. Holly and I didn't discuss what we were wearing and showed up to the Church like this.
I guess we are more alike that we think.
Justin did a wonderful job at the blessing. My f-i-l said that when they were holding Ian during the blessing, Ian looked up and it was as if the ceiling was gone and he was looking straight to heaven. I think that Ian is a special soul and I am so glad he is in our family.
After the blessing we had lunch at the Senior Citizens center in Smithfield. It turned out perfectly and we had a great time hanging out with our families. Because of Mother's Day we were much fewer in number, but we had a great time with those who were able to be there.

Lisa (my s-i-l) got back from Germany on Thursday and we were thrilled that she could be there, although we did miss Mac. Don't worry Court and Mauri we missed you too.
I was so grateful that both of Justin's grandmothers could be there. We are so lucky to have them in our lives. Unfortunately my grandma has hurt her back and wasn't able to join us.
Thanks everybody for making our day special.
So sweet. What a cutie. A great Mother's Day you'll never forget. :)
