Ian's Walking (finally)

Today my last baby started walking.  Sniff, Sniff.  I am a little bit sad about this.  I think that watching a baby take those first steps has to be one of the more thrilling parts of parenthood.  Watching them figure out that they can move and control their body and get it where they want to go is just amazing.

I think Ian is so cute when he was trying to walk.  He would get the biggest grin on his face and pull his arms in and move his little feet.  He has been my slowest walker.  But I am learning that Ian seems to move at a different pace than the rest of my children.  He is quite laid back and he seems content to take his dear sweet time doing things.

I love Justin's face in this last picture.  You can tell he is concentrating as much as Ian is.  Oh, and please ignore the drooled on shirt.  I think he must be teething, because his drool faucet seems to be turned on high right now.

Here is more evidence of Ian's slow to act style.  He has finally started clapping, I think he just hasn't wanted to do this until there was truly something worth clapping over.  I guess walking is worth a round of applause.
