Piano Recital

Three years ago a friend contacted me about a new music class that she was starting.  She wondered if I would be interested in enrolling my kids.  It was a three year program, that I jumped into blind.  I have to say though I would highly recommend it to anyone.  It you ever get the chance to put your kids in to a Lets Play Music class I would do it.  It does require a commitment from the parent and the child though.

Last Saturday the kids had their final recital before graduating from the LPM program.  Each of the third year students composed their own song to play for the recital.  I was a bit skeptical when I heard they were going to be doing this.  I wasn't really sure how it would turn out.  I have to admit they were pretty amazing.  Dallin's song was titled Aliens and Savannah's was Goodbye for Now.  Watch Savannah's video at the bottom of the post to hear her original composition.
I love that Dal's music is upside down.
