Okay I know that it has been forever since I posted. We have just been pluggin along, going through life as normal. Last week we were luckily enough to have Justin's sister Mauri and her kids Ty and Tate come to visit from Texas. They came to our house last Tuesday before heading to Logan to visit the Grandparents. Ty and Dallin are the same age and had so much fun playing with each other. Dallin usually ends up playing with Savannah's friends and his other girl cousins, it was great for him to have somebody to shoot with.
We went to Logan for the weekend, I know that is a shocker. It was my niece Maddie's 6th birthday and General Conference. Dallin and Savannah had a great time making pizzas and breaking the pinata. I really had to work to convince Dallin that his present wasn't for him, it was for Maddie.
Justin's family has a great tradition for General Conference, before the Sunday session everybody gets up early for Danish Hotcakes. This tradition started with Justin's great-grandfather who used to listen to the batter to see if it needed anything. Danish hotcakes a little like crepes, except they have nutmeg in them and you only top them with butter sugar and cream. They are delicious and I could eat a ton of them.
We had a great weekend playing with both sides of the family.
Sure had fun! Thanks for having us! Can't wait to be back playing some more!
