Happy Halloween, finally

Sorry, Court, I think I have you beat on the slow Halloween pictures. We had a great Halloween. Savannah was a princess clown and Dallin was a cowboy clown and Hailey was a dragon. Savannah got to wear her costume to school and have a parade and then a little party. I was in charge of the party so I got to go to her classroom. It was really fun to see her interact with her peers. All the kids looked so cute and had so much fun. After school and a nap we got ready to go to our wards 'trunk of treat'. Dallin quickly ditched his horse, hat and nose to concentrate on the candy. He still told everyone he was a cowboy clown. I guess wearing cowboy boots makes you a cowboy.
They had tons of fun and got tons of candy, but still wanted to do some real trick or treating. So I took them up the hill to hit a few houses. It took Dallin a few minutes to figure out how fun it was but once he did he was racing Savannah to the next house. The kids ended up with so much candy, including several full size bars and a can of soda. I have been trying to limit it so they don't go into sugar shock. If it were up to them it would have been gone the first day.
The night before Halloween we carved our Jack-o-Lantern. The kids loved it, but Dallin thought the inside of the pumpkin were quite "yucky". They loved seeing them all lighted up, but still won't let me throw them out. I will give them one more day then they have to go out on garbage day. Justin carved the Diamond head, Dallin's is the far left one, Savannah's is the princess on the far right, and I did the upside down bat. Hailey didn't get one ,but I don't think she really cares.

  3. What's up with Dallin and Ty and thinking the insides of pumpkins are yucky!?! They get into so many other things that are in my opinion WAY worse! Fun to see your kids all dressed up!
