So I haven't posted for a while, because I wanted to post my pictures which I haven't uploaded onto my computer yet. Well I still haven't uploaded them, but I thought I would link you to my sisters blog where she has a cute picture.
It was the UEA Convention in the state of Utah this week. Which means that the kids get two days off of school, while the teachers are supposed to attend the conference. My sisters, my mom and I decided to spend a couple of days in Park City with the kiddos. Holly flew in from California to play with us for a girls only weekend. We started the weekend off by visiting the witches at Gardner Village. They do an amazing display of life size witches, my favorite this year was the fishing witch, who was using tnt instead worms. Sunday we went to church then went to Park City in the evening. We stayed at the Westgate at The Canyons which was very fun. There was a great pool for the kids to play in. On Monday we headed into SLC so my mom could attend the convention. We took the kids to an anti-voucher rally. They had a great time cheering for the speakers and even more fun marching with their signs. If you click on Stephanie and Dougs blog you can see a great picture of the kids marching in their first political rally. I was so proud of them, even if Dallin couldn't keep his sign turned the right way.
After the convention we headed to the Zoo
and enjoyed a perfect day seeing all the animals. Tuesday, I headed home early with the kids because Hailey was sick. We just enjoyed hanging out at home while Hailey slept.
It was a great long weekend. We had tons of fun hanging out w
ith my family.
