Okay I have been a total slacker about finishing up my Halloween posts. So here we are a little bit late.
Dallin had a program at school. He is going to Miss Lori's again this year. The Halloween songs they learn are pretty much the same each year. It was so fun to see how much he actually knew the songs this year. Last year he was just kid of there, but this year he actually sang and participated. His class has 9 boy and only one girl in it, so they can be a little rowdy, but I think they have a lot of fun. Thank heaven for Miss Jamie she is a saint to put up with all of them.
So we carved pumpkins the night of the 28th. Justin was late coming home so I had to hallow out 4 pumpkins. Of course the kids helped, even Hailey. She thought the guts were quite cool and had no problem diving right in.

Justin got home just in time to help with the actual carving of the the faces. Savannah and Dallin knew just what they wanted to have on their pumpkins. Savannah's is missing quite a few teeth, just like she is. Dallin just wanted to make his scary. Hailey didn't have to much of an opinion, but she was quite pleased with the results. She kept taking off the top and looking inside of the pumpkin. The kids were thrilled with their creations and couldn't wait to light them up.
Okay so from L-R Dallin, Savannah, notice the missing teeth, Hailey, Me, and Justin. He still loves his Aggies, even if they are ranked 119.
Savannah was out of school on Halloween, so we decided to head to Logan. We went trick-or-treating with my nieces and nephew.

They had so much fun. Bevan and Hailey were really slow, it about killed the big kids to have to wait for them. They still managed to get plenty of candy though. I was just glad that Hailey left her hat on for most of the night. Dallin ditched his mask after just a few minute, but he still looked just like Dash. After trick or treating we went and visited Grandma Kandi and Grandpa Larsen and Grandma Dora.
The kids loved showing off their costumes.
On Saturday I got to go scrapbooking with my mom and sis. Justin kept the kids at his parents and had a ball with them. The street where Grandma and Grandpa live is lined with maple trees, which drop a ton of leaves. The kids had a great time jumping in the huge piles of them. Even our dog Lucy got into the fun. As small as she is I am glad we didn't loose her.

Okay, so your kids are darling, but I have to say that the winning photo is Justin's pumpkin. What a true fan!! :-)
