I can't believe it. It has gone way too fast. I am not ready to baby proof, and feed real food and up the wash even more. Ian is getting so big. He is still stiff as a board and hates sitting. He will sit for a could of minutes in his bumbo or high chair and then he is done. He isn't rolling over, however he has figured out how to push him self on his back any where he wants to go. When he is on his tummy he can't move and hates it, so he immediately flips over and he is off. He is going to be trouble I think. He is grabbing for things more now. It is so amazing to watch him figure things out. 
I started feeding Ian solids on Weds. As you can see from the pics the first attempt didn't go so well. I tried again later and he liked it so much more. It is funny because he has been so content with nursing and so not needing anything else. Then all the sudden it isn't enough. I guess 6 months is the magic age for my kiddos.
Ian is sooo happy. He just loves to play and rough house. When you toss him around a little he will give you the cutest whole body laugh. I just love it. 
While I am very sad an how quickly this past 6 months have flown by. I am looking forward to the next 6. I am trying to absorb every bit of this, since this is my last baby. It is funny because when Hailey was about this age I knew that I was supposed to have another baby. I knew that someone else was waiting. But now I don' feel that way. I feel content that our family is complete.
Wow, I cannot believe you had him 6 months ago. I'm just bracing myself for Joshua to slip through my fingers and grow up way too fast. Ian is darling, he looks so big and strong and healthy.
ReplyDeleteHe is so dang cute! Glad that we are closer so we can see him grow up more than we have been able to in the past. Um...we just sent Ian a "being born" gift -- only 6 months behind, right?
