Tinkerbell Half Marathon Weekend-Race day

After we all recuperated we headed to California Adventures.  OF course we had to stop and get beneigts from the Jazz Kitchen on the way.  I don't have any pictures of those, because we inhaled them.  And yes we are dorks and Holly and I dressed as twinners all day at Disney, but wait until you see the pictures for tomorrow.
We were moving a little slower today after the race so we decided to see as many shows as we could.  The Aladdin show is so much fun.  The Genie was quite funny and up-to-date with all the current events.  Phineas and Ferb put on a cute dance show and invite lots of kids to come dance with them.  Bevan had no fear and jumped in whenever he could.  We also caught the Muppets 3D show, I had never seen this one before and I loved it.  Kind of classic Muppets with their punny jokes.
The Bugs Life show still gives me the heebie jeebies, but it is so great.

Of course we couldn't only do shows.  We managed to get in a few big rides.

We even checked out Carsland.  We got Dinner at Flo's, very yummy,  and rode the Mater ride.  Which was very fun.
There is a great dance club place in the back lot called the Mad T-Party.  The Mad Hatter is the lead singer with Alice, the White Rabbit, and Door Mouse as his band.  They covered lots of songs and were actually pretty good.   I think we called it a night early, my memory is kind of fuzzy, because we had to be to the parks early on Monday so we could ride Radiator Springs Racers and we were exhausted.
I kind of thought we were nuts to try and do Disney after a half marathon, but it actually worked great.  I think all that walking around actually helped me not be as sore.
