We continued playing on Friday of UEA. Katie,Maddie, and Grandma slept over, so we had yummy pancakes for breakfast. I made them with the recipe on the flax seed bottle so they were actually good for you too. After breakfast we headed to IKEA to do a little shopping. I am getting ready to move Hailey downstairs with Savannah so the new baby can be upstairs in Hailey's room. We found some darling stuff, when I get it all put together and J gets the bunk bed made I will post pictures. After IKEA we headed up to Hogle Zoo. I love the zoo and I never get tired of looking at the animals. The monkeys were in rare form that day and were super active. The kids loved watching them. Hailey was so cute ohhing and ahhing over the animals. This picture is her mimicking the Giraffes. 
If you look closely you can see three big tortoises in the background. They fed them while we were there, and the kids enjoyed watching them eat ever so slowly. 
Hogle Zoo has installed the cutest carousel this summer. The animals are all zoo animals, so you can sit on anything from a baboon to a snake. We couldn't resist jumping in the peacock chair for a quick picture. After waiting in a very long line for a quick train ride the kids hit the playground to burn off the last of their energy. By the time we hit the car they were exhausted.
