I am so blessed to live close to my family. One of the perks of living close is that the cousins get to play together. Stephanie had to go to girls camp so I was tending the kids. She came down a day early so we all could play. We went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and let the kids have some fun. We divided up the tokens and gave each kid a few. Hailey was not happy with the amount given to her and when I wasn't looking she took the rest of her cup. She had burned through them in about two minutes. She did play a game where she got lots of tickets, although next time I will know to watch her more closely.

After having a ball we headed out to the Oquirrh (pronounced Oaker) Temple. We had some time before we were supposed to be there so we stopped at this darling park in Daybreak.

If you have never been out to Daybreak, you should plan a trip. It is such a cute community. I saw my dream house while there, now if I can just figure out how to get it on my yard.

The temple was beautiful.

It was so neat to be there with my family. I love how good the kids were while we were touring. Of course their favorite part were the cookies at the end.
That was just the first day the rest of the week was great. The kids got along wonderfully and we really had fun. My Niece Katie and I made bread and cookies together; Maddie went to Miss Lori's summer school with Savannah and Dallin; and Hailey, Bevan, and Ian napped. When they weren't busy they played in the sprinkler

watched movies, went to the Zoo (thanks Doug), and had a lemonade stand. What fun week!!
Wow that house is amazing! Love it. Looks like you not only survived but had a great time. Wow, I'm impressed! And Ian is looking so big. Seeing him in the jumper reminded me it's probably time to get the exersaucer down from the attic. What a cutie. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for taking them! We did have fun that day... I'm coming down on Wed. What we going to do? I can't leave until 12:30
ReplyDeleteWhile we were there last time, we went to the open house and I'm with you. I loved the cute houses close by. Maybe someday. For now I'm stuck with tan stucco just like all of my neighbors!
