This smiling pumpkin is what said good bye to us each night. Almost as though he knew a secret that we didn't.
Dallin loved to read the map and try to tell us what we needed to do next. Of course we already knew, we were headed for Peter Pan. Peter Pan is the weirdest ride because it gets the longest line and never dies done. Plus it seems to break done a lot so we knew we needed to hit this first.
This magic morning we were joined by Stephanie and her kids and my mom. Holly and her family missed the bus going to Disneyland, oops. Once again my mom and Stephanie were awesome to take my kids on the tea cups. Grandma even took Hailey and Bevan twice, in a row, so they could ride in the purple cup. Considering I can't even do that ride once I would say that puts my mom in the running for Grandma of the year.

We were also able to ride the Storybook boats, that was a first for me. This is another one that seems to shut down a lot and always has a long line. Of course we also hit Alice, Dumbo, the Carousel, and the Matterhorn.
Everyone had a great time on Autopia. As you can see Holly is overjoyed!
Savannah wasn't quite tall enough to push the pedal the whole way so this nice worker hopped in beside her to get her back to the station.
Ian loved driving the car, even thought he couldn't really see over the steering wheel.
We tried to get the kids into the Jedi training, but didn't have any luck today. Ian was just chilling while the other kids watched the show.

We decided to head over to California Adventures now. On our way out we ran into Goofy all dressed up for Halloween.

Ian loved meeting Goofy. We had really been working with Ian before the trip saying, "is Mickey Mouse nice or mean?" and Ian would say "nice" We went through the cast of characters over and over so he wouldn't be scared of them. And it worked. I think the only ones he was even the tiniest bit nervous around were the villains.
One of the things that the kids did this trip was pin trading. A friend had told me about it so I got on ebay and bought a bunch of cheap pins to get the kids started. In fact that was one of the things we bribed the kids with on our drive. They each got a lanyard and a bunch of pins. The Disneyland cast members wear lanyards and they will trade with anyone who asks. There are a few CMs who wear green lanyard and they will only trade with kids. It was such a fun thing for the kids to do. It was so interesting to see who they would pick and what they thought was cool. Of course I have no pictures of them actually trading, I know bad photographer, but trust me they had a ball. Maybe I will have to get the lanyards out and get a picture of them.
So after lunch, pin trading and Soaring over California, where I left my sunglasses and had to sneak back down the

After hitting a few rides in California Adventures we got in line for Aladdin. Best advice I got was to wait for the Mezzanine. We sat on the front, well second they don't let people sit on the front, row right in the middle. The kids loved the show. They really do an amazing job. The Genie was so funny. Ian was totally enthralled with the whole show. I thought for sure he would zonk out, but I don't think he took his eyes off the show the whole time.
After the show we headed to Goofy's Kitchen for Dinner. That is going to be its own post because there are so many pictures.
