HiH Day 9

What is your favorite Christmas book?

My favorite book only came to exist as a book in my house last year. When I was little my grandma would read us The Little Match Girl by Hans Christian Anderson. It had been published in an Ideals magazine. I can remember going to her basement to find the magazine that contained this story. I don't really know why it is my favorite. It is actually quite a sad story, but it reminds me of my childhood and of my grandmother.

Has reading played a part in your holidays past? Describe at least one experience.

Well I think I already answered this, but I do remember My father always reading us the Christmas Story out of the bible while we reenacted it. The costumes we nothing fancy. Just old bathrobes and tinsel, but we always had fun doing it.
